The FTW KIDS Program Is Expanding Starting Dec. 1st, 2011

Due the demand of the kid's program we will be hosting an all new format for a Thursday evening kid's competition class. With the addition of the class we will also be adding to line up of Instructors. Our own Garrett Tyler will be heading the class and working hand in hand with Debbie to improve the ever growing future talent.

The Monday and Wednesday Kid's classes will keep the Gracie Jiu Jitsu/Self Defense format. The new Thursday night class will cover more sport Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. It will put more focus on point systems, rules, time limits and more grappling.

This is just the beginning! The Kid's program will continue to grow, and the classes will grow with them. Kids in the class currently range between 6-13 years old. Contact us for more details.

Our 4 Year Party Brings New Color To The FTW Mat July 16TH, 2011

The support of the team is never stronger than when we get together to celebrate the years accomplishments. This year brought with it many great changes, and this Saturday was no exception. First we have several new blue belts, keep up the great work guys! AJ Babcock, Justin Green, Chris Lin, Jim Haig, Erich Cloninger, Tommy Gillman, and Chris Mckeehan. Congrats to Joey Plyler on his promotion to yellow belt. Lastly a huge congrats to Casey Fisher being promoted to Purple belt. Although the FTW team has several strong purple belts within the ranks, Casey is the first person to be promoted under Steve Hall from new student to purple in North Carolina since Steve moved here in 2007.

Also, thank you again Debbie Hauff for another great presentation of the year at FTW. We are all very appreciative for the work that you put into the slide show each year. It is one more thing that sets us apart from all the rest.

It was a great day, with a great end at Dave and Busters. Thank you all for making this possible. We can't wait to see what next year will bring!

FTW CLEANS UP AT NAGA CHARLOTTE APRIL 9TH, 2011

It was a great day for the Fight To Win team! We had an amazing showing bringing home the 3rd place
OVER ALL TEAM title, 2nd place over all Gi title, 4th place over all kids and teens and 4th place over all No-Gi title. The best part of all of this is that we did it with a fraction of the competitiors of those who beat us.

Congrats to everyone that competed from the FTW home school, and the affiliates who supported the team from Beckley MMA, Annex BJJ, Hard Target and Ground Attack Combat MA. We couldn't have done any of it without every one of you.

I would also like to thank everyone from the team that helped out with running the tournament. It was a smooth event because everyone came together for a common goal. It was run so well that we are talking about running two NAGA tournaments in Charlotte next year!

You are all amazing, keep up the great work!
