Joe Hurst academy is planning to do a seminar October 16th from 7-9.

Fabio Costa from Atlanta will be teaching. He has placed second a few times at the mundials and Pan Ams. He has also coached Quinten Jackson and a few other MMA fighters.

After the seminar there will be a mini tournament for white and blue belts. 4 min rounds, single elim, no medals, no weights, just king of the blue or whites who show up. IF there is an big weight difference we will adjust accordingly. The last time we did this it was over in 45 minutes.

So you say how much could this incredible day of fun and games cost? $25 yes I said $25 for the seminar and the "tournament."

Beyond the seminar, which will be worth the $25 by itself.

This is a great opportunity to get some mat time in with some of the other schools in the area. If you guys are planning on competing in the future I strongly recommend you attend.

For the white belts, this is also a great way to get your first idea of competition without all the pressure.

i think joe has a wide range of whites/blues in all weight classes

for $25 you really cant beat that for the seminar

The date is still the same, but the times have been changed.

It will be 6pm-8pm, and the tournament will be from 8pm-9pm.

is anybody going ????

I was thinking about it but have already committed to supporting Mario's seminar the same night.

I haven't heard anyone else make mention of it in the school either.
